How to connect Fitbit to SynthVitals

Fitbit is one of the fastest ways to populate SynthVitals with daily activity, sleep, and heart-rate data. Once connected, Fitbit metrics can be used in dashboards, correlations, experiments, and AI chat prompts.

What syncs from Fitbit

  • Steps and activity totals
  • Sleep duration and sleep trends
  • Heart rate and resting heart rate
  • Related recovery and habit analysis inside SynthVitals

How to connect it

  1. Open the connections area in SynthVitals.
  2. Choose Fitbit from the available integrations.
  3. Authorize access in the Fitbit flow.
  4. Return to SynthVitals and allow the first sync to complete.

If Fitbit is not syncing

  • Confirm the Fitbit account you authorized is the one your device is using.
  • Open the Fitbit app first so its own data is up to date.
  • Give the initial sync a little time if you connected the account moments ago.
  • If metrics still look incomplete, reconnect the integration and check the permissions you granted.

What to do next

After sync is active, use your Fitbit data in Fitbit-specific dashboards, compare trends against lab markers, or ask Synthia questions like “Show me my Fitbit sleep trend” or “Does my activity affect recovery?”
